Diane Flynn, RN, MBA, Consultant, Joint Commission Resources, Inc.
Ms. Flynn has more than 30 years of experience in home care, including home health, hospice, infusion, private duty, and equipment. She was a surveyor for the Joint Commission’s home care program, including deemed status surveys, for both home health and hospice from 1988 through 2003 and has been a consultant to Joint Commission Resources, Inc. for 17 years.
Her consulting expertise in home health, hospice, infusion, private duty, and equipment organizations includes operational assessment; performance improvement; patient safety assessment; medication management; infection prevention and control; environment of care; palliative care; and incorporating tracer methodology and the periodic performance review as management tools.
Ms. Flynn received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and her Master’s of Business Administration form Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Illinois.
