Advancing the Quality and Safety of Patient Care
Formed in 1997, the CSR program is a subscription-based consulting service that provides customized packages of education and training to over 700 organizations located in 25 states across the country. Designed to support health care organizations locally in their efforts to improve the quality of care delivered in their communities, the CSR program works with organizations of all sizes, accredited and unaccredited, to focus on system effectiveness and performance. The ultimate goal of the program is to assist organizations in achieving and maintaining continuous compliance with Joint Commission standards and the Disease Specific Certification Program. Services include:
- A dedicated local consultant, who provides ongoing telephone and e-mail support
- Individualized onsite education and training visits
- Educational workshops and audio conferences on current issues and important topics
- User advisory groups
- A web site featuring free resources, advice, FAQs and forms
- Discounts on JCR consulting, education programs, publications and e-products
- Networking opportunities, both online and at regional CSR-sponsored events
