Penny Miller, RN, MSN, CPHQ
Penny Miller is currently a resident of Bristol, Tennessee.
She received her Diploma in Nursing from Roanoke Memorial Hospital School of
Nursing, Roanoke, VA, her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from King College,
Bristol, TN and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State
University, Johnson City, TN.
Ms Miller has experience in a variety of nursing settings in
acute care as well as a solid background in administration, and performance
improvement. She most recently served as System Accreditation Coordinator for a
multihospital health system having responsibility for facilitating and
overseeing continued Joint Commission readiness for hospitals within the health
system. She is experienced in using tracer methodology in preparing front-line
staff, leaders, and physicians for survey. Other positions in the past include
Vice President of Clinical Services and Performance Improvement Coordinator.
Penny is affiliated with Sigma Theta Tau, International
Nursing Honor Society and the American Organization of Nurse Executives. In
addition she is a nurse evaluator for the Collegiate College of Nursing
Education.
