Maureen Burger is currently a resident of Cleves, Ohio. She received her Diploma in Nursing from Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio, and her Master's Degree from Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a specialty in Critical Care Nursing.
Prior to joining JCR, Ms. Burger has had extensive experience in clinical and administrative aspects of hospital organizations, ranging from tertiary referral, academic medical centers to faith-based community networks. She has held leadership positions in quality improvement, decision support, and clinical operations, including critical care, burns, medical-surgical, perioperative, respiratory care, cardiac rehabilitation, and long-term acute care. In each of her roles she has had responsibility for survey readiness and assisting organizations with successful surveys. Her broad range of organizational knowledge will bring depth to her ability to assist organizations with standards compliance and continuous survey readiness.
Ms. Burger is affiliated with the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Ohio Organization of Nurse Executives, the Greater Cincinnati Nurse Executives, the American College of Healthcare Executives, Sigma Theta Tau, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses
Licensed in the State of Ohio, she continues to practice nursing in a cardiovascular intensive care setting.
