The CSR Program includes dedicated consultants who are employees of Joint Commission Resources. Each consultant is standards trained and many have on-site survey experience. The dedicated consultants are responsible for all member organization on-site visits, are available for ongoing telephone and email education and document review; planning and facilitating education programs; and they serve as the liaison for Joint Commission Resources.
During the regular on-site visits, the consultants work with the member organizations on performance improvement and system effectiveness; the use of Tracer Methodology; education sessions, standards Q & A sessions; and document review.
Education programs cover such topics as:
National Patient Safety Goals,
Tracer Methodology,
Core Measures,
Update on the Standards and Survey Process, and
Review of Challenging Standards.
