
Addie Jones, RN, MSN

Addie Jones is currently a resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science degree in Nursing at Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Prior to joining the Joint Commission, Ms. Jones was clinical Education Manager at Central Heath Services in Atlanta, Georgia. Lead Instructor- Practical Nursing Program at Dekalb Technical Institute in Clarkston Georgia; Chief Nursing Officer at Southwest Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia; Assistant Administrator- Critical Care Services at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia; and Director of Surgical Intensive Care Units at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ms. Jones is affiliated with the American Nurses Association and the Georgia Nurses Association.
Ms. Jones was a full-time Joint Commission surveyor from 1994-2003 and trained under the Accreditation Programs for Hospital, Home Care, and Long Term Care. Ms. Jones has also surveyed freestanding Ambulatory sites and Psychiatric Hospitals. Currently Ms. Jones serves a regional Representative in Georgia in the Joint Commission Resources, Continuous Survey Readiness Program to assist hospitals in staying continuously ready for the accreditation process.
