Bernard J. Scaglione, CPP, CHSP

Bernard J. Scaglione is the Director of Security at New York Presbyterian Hospital, at the Weill Cornell Campus. For the past 25 years Ben has directed hospital security departments in the New York tri-state area. Ben is a Certified Protection Professional and has a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. He is a member of the ASIS International Healthcare Council, president of The New York City Metropolitan Healthcare Safety and Security Directors Association, is a member of the ASIS Critical Infrastructure Workgroup and is a member of the training council for the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety. Ben is an accomplished author writing for ASIS, the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety, Lawyers and Judges Publishing and Security Journal. Ben currently teaches at the Platt Institute in New York City.
