Roberta Fruth offers demonstrated experience as a nurse executive and educator in academic and community hospital settings. As a consultant, Roberta brings educational and operational expertise in data management, performance improvement, clinical safety, and team development to assist organizations achieve their goals.
Previously, Roberta served as Chief Nurse Executive and Vice President of Patient Services at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. In this role she was responsible for acute patient care areas, surgical services, ambulatory clinics, emergency services, pharmacy, respiratory services and volunteers. Prior to her tenure at St. Joseph Hospital, She was a Director of Nursing at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Over the previous twenty years she held a number of operational and educational leadership positions at Rush University Medical Center. In these various settings she has been involved in mergers of units and departments. Most recently at St Joseph Hospital she led organizational changes related to an organizational merger and later an acquisition.
Roberta's faculty and lecturing experiences contributed to her skills in teaching, presenting and integrating the principles and foundations of quality improvement processes into clinical applications. Her experiences in clinical operations helped develop a seasoned and practical approach to process changes and the realities of today's dynamic health care scene.
