Corporate Underwriter Funding

Joint Commission Resources, the not-for-profit wholly controlled affiliate of the Joint Commission, is currently seeking corporate underwriting support for a variety of mission critical strategic initiatives in 2008.

The strategic initiatives encompass domestic and international opportunities in topic areas such as:
  • patient safety
  • patient empowerment
  • operating room safety
  • medical equipment management
  • medication management and reconciliation
  • health care facility safety
  • rapid response teams
  • infection control
  • and, public policy issues
These initiatives are carried out through conferences, seminars, videos and web-based training programs.  The initiatives will appeal to, and have involvement from, senior level health care decision makers, physicians and quality experts.

By seeking your support of these key initiatives, our hope is to create a strategic alliance that will mutually serve us both in our pursuit of positively influencing the delivery of safe and quality health care to the public.

Benefits to the Underwriting Organization

Corporate Underwriters of the 2008 strategic initiatives will benefit from these distinct advantages:
  • Targeted audience access -- Corporate underwriter opportunities are limited, so that the organization will have excellent access to an attentive and responsive audience of health care executives and influential opinion leaders.
  • Quality, dedicated time to present your company and its business solutions to decision makers -- As a corporate underwriter, you will get the chance to interact with health care professionals with strong interest in learning about best practices and innovative, yet practical ways to solve the challenges they face in health care every day.
  • Strategic positioning -- A company's decision to 'say yes' to corporate underwriting support helps to position that company with health care decision makers as a strategic supporter of Joint Commission and Joint Commission Resources efforts to improve the quality and safety of care and health outcomes in the United States and internationally.
  • Continuing positive impressions with this key audience -- The Corporate underwriter will be recognized in direct mail and electronic distribution of materials, which reach tens of thousands of health care organizations; and on the Joint Commission Resources Web site. Your company name will be remembered by those organizations.
