Program Summary

It is important to assure that all services patients receive are of the highest quality regardless to if they are contracted services or not.  This seminar is designed to focus on assuring that contracted services within an organization provide competent, high quality care, treatment or services. 

The seminar includes a review of the 2008 and 2009 Leadership standards specific to contracted services; covers Management of Human Resources standards in the context of how competency, orientation, verification or credentials and education apply to contracted services and applies to individuals (who are not physician assistants or advance practice registered nurses) that are brought into an organization by a physician; and provides an exercise to develop competency and quality indicators for specific contracted services unique to different types of organizations.  A case study to illustrate good practices for implementing oversight of care, treatment and services provided through contractual agreement will be shared by an actual practitioner.  Participants will leave the seminar with examples of tools to adapt and utilize within their organization for ongoing monitoring.
