There are two primary versions, Intranet and Extranet, of Accreditation Manager Plus. Both offer the advantages of web-based applications with no need to install workstation software.
Web-Based Extranet
This version is the easiest way to be up and running with Accreditation Manager Plus. The Extranet version is hosted by the Joint Commission Resources so there is no need to maintain local hardware. All quarterly updates are automatically applied and you get the current standards with no additional effort. The Extranet version can be accessed by any work station with Internet Explorer and Internet access. This is a site license which provides access to unlimited authorized staff.
Web-Based Intranet
For organizations with no access to the external Internet, the Intranet version provides web-based access to Accreditation Manager Plus. With this version, you must provide a local server for the AMP software. Quarterly updates are applied by your local Information Technology group to a locally installed version of AMP. Users access AMP via Internet Explorer from any work station with network access. This is a site license which provides access to unlimited authorized staff.
