Objectives 
Upon completion of this conference, the participant will be able to: 
  • Implement effective solutions for challenges impacting infection prevention and control processes across the continuum
  • Compare and contrast processes used to minimize infections in Infection Control management systems with the purpose of identifying and incorporating possible solutions for use within your own organization
  • Analyze how technology influences infection prevention and control, citing both advantages and disadvantages to patient outcomes
  • Describe the steps that ICPs are taking to ensure that infection prevention and control is a multidisciplinary endeavor

Target Audience

Infection prevention and control professionals, physicians, epidemiologist and health care professionals who are involved in the prevention, management and treatment of diseases within their health care organizations. In addition, employee health nurses, public health professionals, community health professionals, risk managers, quality improvement professionals, researchers and clinical faculty from medical, pharmaceutical and nursing programs, department administrators, regulators, health professional societies.
