AHRQ Project Red Application

JCR continues to work on the implementation and dissemination of Project RED – a funded AHRQ Contract currently with 145 participating U.S. hospital organizations (soon to be 250) who are deploying the RED interventions (Re-Engineered Discharge – a Boston University Medical Center evidence based method for discharging patients) assessing their own discharge performance, identifying barriers and process breakdowns, and implementing the components of RED in designated patient populations (often CHF), collecting data, and using a performance improvement methodology to implement change and to spread this change.
