Lucille Skuteris, RN, MS, Executive Director, US Consulting and CSR

Ms. Skuteris has over 30 years of experience in health care and consulting operations, business development, physician relations, clinical practice, and standards compliance.  As Executive Director, US Consulting and Continuous Service Readiness (CSR), Ms. Skuteris has overall responsibility for Joint Commission compliance and performance improvement consulting services including CSR, a subscription-based accreditation readiness focused consulting and education service for health care organizations across the country. 

 

Prior to her current position at Joint Commission Resources, Ms. Skuteris was an Associate Director in the Department of Standards Interpretation Group at The Joint Commission.  In this position, she provided standards interpretation assistance to hospitals, ambulatory care facilities and networks across the country.  Ms. Skuteris was also an Associate Director in the Division of Research and Development at The Joint Commission and assisted in the development and revision of the standards and survey process. She served as faculty at national conferences and workshops on behalf of The Joint Commission.

 

Ms. Skuteris has held numerous management positions in hospitals and ambulatory care facilities. Prior to joining The Joint Commission, she served as Associate Administrator for Advocate Health Care’s Management Service Organization in Park Ridge, Illinois and as Regional Director of the Physician Practice Management company for Columbia Health Care’s Chicago Division. Other health care experience includes Interim President, MedWest Physician Management Services, Director of Physician Relations, Manager of a Medical Unit, Staff Development Educator and intensive care staff nurse. Her experience in business and clinical operations, as well as relationship management, have helped her to develop a seasoned, practical approach to managing the complexities of health care businesses.

 

Ms. Skuteris received her associate's degree in nursing from Triton College, River Grove, Illinois; her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Illinois and her master of science degree in nursing administration from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.  Ms. Skuteris was previously trained and certified as a Joint Commission Nurse Surveyor.  She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and has been a past member of the West Cook County Board for the American Heart Association.  She has been involved in committees of professional nursing organizations.


Linda M. Siegler, MPH, Manager Professional Services, CSR

Linda Siegler is the Manager of Professional Services for the CSR program. In this role, she is responsible for the operations, business development, and the implementation of the CSR program. Major activities include leading the efforts of interested hospital associations to operationalize the CSR program in a particular state. She has experience in assisting organizations in preparing for accreditation and maintaining continuous survey readiness.

Prior to this position, Ms. Siegler was the Associate Director of Business Development for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Ambulatory Program. In this capacity, Ms. Sielger was instrumental in assisting organizations through the accreditation process, many for the first time. Ms. Siegler consistently helped organizations recognize the value of accreditation.

Ms. Siegler joined the Joint Commission in 1993, and was a survey scheduler for the Division of Accreditation Operations’ Hospital Program.

Ms. Siegler earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa. She received a master's in public health (community health) from Illinois Benedictine University, Lisle, Illinois. She is also received a certification in Managed Care from Illinois Benedictine University, Lisle, Illinois.
