This two- day, intense program will provide the participants with a clear and comprehensive plan for achieving and maintaining accreditation status.  Your guides on this two day journey will be two of the Joint Commissions most highly skilled and experienced surveyors and consultants. At the completion of this event, you will be prepared to embrace the survey process experience with confidence and success.

Who must attend:
Attendees representing community mental health centers, community or facility-based behavioral health care organizations, agencies serving  children and youth and their families, addiction and opioid treatment programs, psychiatric hospital and acute care hospitals with psychiatric or dependency programs and services.

Objectives:
1. Describe the process for achieving continuous readiness in the accreditation survey process
2. Analyze the organization’s compliance with standards and survey readiness.
3. Develop strategies for compliance with challenging standards.
4. Review the evolution of the accreditation standards and survey process in behavioral healthcare for 2010.
5. Describe the criteria which determine a conditional or denial status of accreditation.
