Held annually in the fall, the Home Care Executive Briefing provides a one-day packed event that focuses on critical updates.  The premier event will focus on a comprehensive overview of how current legislation and regulation is impacting the Home Care accreditation program.  Learn about the ongoing efforts of The Joint Commission to enhance the value of Home Care accreditation through internal robust process improvement, outreach, collaboration, and participation in national initiatives. 

Participate in the Hospice program for clarifications and changes in the accreditation process, challenging standards found in 2012, and other emerging issues that impact home care accreditation such as National Patient Safety Goals. 

Attend the optional session on Deemed Status to discuss compliance with the most challenging home care standards that are applicable to deemed status organizations providing home health services  The speaker will present the “top ten” standards that are frequently a challenge for home care organizations that are preparing for both initial and ongoing deemed-status accreditation. 

When you leave the program, you will be equipped with strategies to achieve a culture of continuous survey readiness.
