• John J. Nance, JD 
John is the nationally-known author of "Why Hospitals Should Fly," which received the Book of the Year Award for 2009 from the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is also an Aviation Analyst for ABC World News and Aviation Editor for Good Morning America.
• Mark R. Chassin, MD, MPP, MPH
Mark R. Chassin is president of The Joint Commission. In this role, he oversees the activities of the nation's predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized worldwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to quality improvement and to meeting state-of-the-art performance standards.
• John Ovretveit, BSc(hons), MPhil, PhD, C. Psychol, C.Sci, MHSM 
John Ovretveit visits us from Stockholm, Sweden, where he is the Director of Research for the Karolinska Institutet of the Medical Management Centre. He is also a Professor of Health Management at Bergen University in Norway. In our Key Note presentation, Dr. Ovretveit will discuss his work on "Leading Evidence-Informed Value Improvement."

• Karen H. Timmons
Karen Timmons is the president and chief executive officer of Joint Commission Resources / Joint Commission International. In this position, she oversees the Joint Commission’s domestic and international consulting, international accreditation, education, publications, and Continuous Survey Readiness. Additionally, Ms. Timmons leads the World Health Organization Collaborating Center on Patient Safety Solutions, as part of the World Alliance on Patient Safety.
