June 23, 2010
Product Code: EDU1021

This session will provide an overview for leadership with a particular focus on patient safety.  The expert Joint Commission Central Office faculty will speak on the status of The Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs) and related requirements.  Faculty for this event are those who know the goals intimately, work with staff for improvements, and hear directly from the field to help interpret and problem-solve.  The focus of this session will be on challenging standards found in 2010, expectations for 2011, and an update on hot topics related to the Patient Safety Advisory Group.  Participants will hear directly from the Standards Interpretation Group and Office of Quality Monitoring, Joint Commission staff with first-hand knowledge and expectations moving forward.

This pre-conference takes place immediately prior to The Joint Commission and Joint Commission Resources' Annual Conference on Quality and Patient Safety.  Check out the link below and make sure to take advantage of both events, along with conference discounts.
