Our Credentialing and Privileging Consulting Service is designed to help organizations meet the requirements of the Medical Staff standards related to credentialing and privileging. 

This service will place emphasis on the ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations and will include:
  • Working with medical staff leadership to identify and suggest evidence-based clinical indicators that are linked to privileges and can be used in the ongoing and focused evaluations
  • Providing a set of tools and methods that can be used to strengthen medical staff systems related to credentialing and privileging compliance
  • Identifying data sources to assist the medical staff with functions related to the privileging and re-privileging process
  • Communicating expectations to the departments that develop and/or store data for measurement, comparison, and use during the privileging and re-privileging process and assessing their ability to assist in the ongoing evaluation of medical staff
  • Providing a detailed compliance report related to credentialing and privileging functions based on our on-site activities that includes identification of barriers, intervention strategies, specific recommendations for implementation, and metrics to measure success
