E-dition for Advanced Certification for Palliative Care
The Joint Commission’s new Advanced Certification Program for Palliative Care is designed to recognize hospital inpatient programs that demonstrate exceptional patient and family-centered care in order to optimize the quality of life for patients with serious illness. Palliative care involves addressing physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs and facilitating patient autonomy, access to information and choice.
This new program is now conveniently available for E-dition.

License Types
- Site license provides access to all authorized staff of a single accredited organization. The site license allows all staff actively involved in the self assessment process to access E-dition whenever they need it. For organizations not accredited by The Joint Commission, the site license is restricted to six individual named users.
- Single user license allows smaller organizations to purchase just the access they need. A single user allows one person at a time to access the E-dition website. Multiple single user licenses can be purchased to allow more than one simultaneous access.
License Details
- Each accreditation program is available through a separate license as shown in pricing table.
- Any organization or individual may purchase a license for E-dition. See access for accredited organization for complimentary access.
- E-dition is available as a stand alone product or with an upgrade that includes the self-assessment features of Accreditation Manager Plus (AMP).
- Quantity discounts are only offered for multiple quantities purchased of the same license by program and type.
