Flu Vaccination Best Practices
We would like to hear from you for examples of best practices that helped your health care organization achieve its flu vaccination goal last season. Other organizations may benefit from your experience. Examples of best practices will be compiled and considered for inclusion on The Flu Vaccination Challenge website blog or upcoming teleconference to provide support and encouragement to other organizations. If your submission is selected, you will be notified and contacted for additional details.
Some idea starters:
- What worked best to motivate your employees to get vaccinated against the flu?
- Was your strategy unique? Was it simple?
- How will you do things differently this season, if you plan to change your approach?
- What type of support did you secure from administrators and/or fellow staff?
- Were employees given incentive for getting the flu vaccination?
- Is flu vaccination a condition of employment at your facility (definition: must get flu vaccination to be employed unless contraindicated)?
