we are a long term acute care hospital with patients that stay here for several months and years....some wear arm bands and some do not...some can say their name and some cannot....when passing medication we use a patient id card and match it with their bands for the two identifiers....for those who will not wear the band we use the id card ask them their name...what can we do for those who do not wear the band and cannot tell us thier name?

Thank you for your question. Although you have an excellent question, the question is not related to MDROs so we need to refer you to the following link to assist you in obtaining an answer. Thank you again.
