Soule has worked in health care for more than 35 years and recently received two professional awards: the 2009 Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) President’s Distinguished Service Award, and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) Advanced Practice Infection Preventionist Award. She also has broad experience practicing and teaching about infection prevention and control and has published extensively in this area.

Slavish has more than 40 years of experience in health care, including 33 years in infection control in domestic health care settings and application of infection control principles in community settings. Before joining JCR, she served as lead infection control coordinator at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Stephen Weber

Weber currently serves as the medical director of infection control and clinical quality at the University of Chicago Medical Center and assistant professor in the section of infectious diseases. As a JCR consultant, he works with a variety of organizations to assess current infection prevention and control systems designed to ensure continual compliance with Joint Commission standards.
