The Joint Commission Annual Conference on Quality and Safety, November 2008

The Annual Conference on Quality and Safety sponsored by The Joint Commission was held on November 19-21 at the Chicago Hilton. The conference was a huge success with numerous presenters from The Joint Commission and other health care organizations giving papers on a wide variety of topics related to quality improvement, getting the organization on board, promoting effective teamwork, leadership issues, and creating and sustaining positive culture change. Joint Commission Resources also made its presence felt at the conference with a large display of publications as well as tables featuring its consulting services, web-based training modules, audio conferences, and other services.
