Pressure Ulcer Prevention Project
The Pressure Ulcer Prevention project is a funded initiative to provide evidence-based guidance to hospitals. The project has been led by Joint Commission Resources and our Nurse Safety Scholar-in-Residence.
Thank you to Irene M. Jankowski of Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY, who served as the first Nurse Safety Scholar-in-Residence. Our new Nurse Scholar, Diane Whitworth of Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA, will continue the project through its culmination on September 30, 2010. Applications for the next scholar will be accepted July 1-30, 2010.
