Online Extras for the Staff Pocket Guide to MDROs

Multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) are microorganisms, predominantly bacteria, that have become resistant to one or more classes of antimicrobial agents. As a result, health care professionals are encouraged to know effective prevention, treatment, and anti-transmission strategies in case an MDRO is found in their health care setting. This pocket guide is intended to put basic knowledge needed to control MDROs into the hands of frontline clinicians.

These items supplement information in the Staff Pocket Guide to MDROs. Follow the links below to gain more valuable information about MDROs and how to prevent their transmission.
