Melanie Tolley is the Executive Director of Marketing for Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International.  Her team is responsible for strategic marketing initiatives for all products and services within both organizations, with the ability and insight to employ the appropriate strategies and tools to meet specific business objectives.

The team is also responsible for corporate sponsorships, tradeshow support, field and secondary research, website and electronic marketing, customer outreach, voice of customer and macro-level assessments.

Melanie has 25 years of experience as a marketing communications, advertising and public relations professional in various fields including hospital, pharmaceutical, business-to-business and business-to-consumer communications.  She has worked at Fortune 500 companies as well as for top-10 PR agencies.

Martin-Tolley has been a featured presenter at Wharton School of Health Care Executives’ master classes and has recently signed on as a Gerson Lehrman Group Educator, with her experience in planning, implementing and evaluating comprehensive marketing strategies and communications plans.
