Speak Up: Know Your Rights brochures

Every patient has rights, and every patient should know these rights before they walk into a health care facility for treatment. This brochure, which is a part of the Speak Up program, was created to help patients become more informed and involved in their health care. Included are a bulleted list of patient rights, clearly outlining what they should know, and important questions for patients to ask regarding advocates, infection control, facility security, and more. Too often patients let themselves become bystanders to their own health care. This brochure will help patients know what their rights are, and what questions to ask to guarantee the facility is best suited for their needs.
