Ms. Homa-Lowry brings a distinguished career as a national health care quality and performance improvement expert to her role as a consultant and faculty for JCR. She actively works with hospitals, behavioral health, long term care, and home health facilities to develop organizationwide approaches to improving performance, including systems and process analysis, data management and analysis, and cost effectiveness.
Ms. Homa-Lowry’s consulting expertise includes strategic planning; analysis of health care systems and processes; leadership education and skill building; regulatory standards and survey education and preparation; performance improvement education and consulting; process improvement teams and practice guidelines; risk management; case management; utilization management; data and information management; and physician office managed care compliance.
Ms. Homa-Lowry received her Registered Nurse diploma form Providence School of Nursing, Southfield, Michigan; her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Services from Mercy College of Detroit, Michigan; and her Master's of Science in Business Administration with a major in Quality and Operations Management from Madonna University, Livonia, Michigan. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and is certified in Systems Approach to Quality.
