It is even more important than ever to attend the one day 2017 Home Care Executive Briefings program!

Not only does this event provide challenging Joint Commission Home Care standards, it will also discuss significant updates on Project REFRESH and SAFER™ Matrix for home care accredited organizations. After the morning plenary sessions, attendees will break into their respective service areas such as:

  • Home Health-Medicare Certified
  • Home Health-Medicare Non-Certified
  • Hospice
  • Durable Medical Equipment
  • Pharmacy

Best practices for each area’s unique challenges will be discussed, along with relevant standard changes. The Home Health-Medicare Certified members hear about the proposed Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and the proposed new and revised Home Health standards related to these CoPs. All Home Health and Hospice learners will learn about the proposed standards related to the CMS Final Rule on Emergency Management. Other program topics include but are not limited to: medication compounding, quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI), documentation strategies, and more! Please join us at this annual program!

Individuals who should attend this seminar include anyone responsible for your organization’s accreditation, quality improvement activities, discharge planning, and all staff integral to your strategies to improve compliance with  Joint Commission’s Home Care accreditation standards.

  3. Discuss the implications associated with the ‘fee-for-value’ in home care.
  4. Identify leadership’s role in performance improvement as a pivotal step to improve and sustain patient safety and quality

Thank you for supporting JCR’s paperless initiative for our education programs. Here are some tips for your learning success:
  • Bring your fully charged electronic device (laptop, tablet, etc.) with you to the program so that you can access the program materials and take notes.
  • Download/access program materials from your email, the JCR Learning Management System (LMS), and/or the event app. 1-2 weeks before your program, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access these materials. These materials will continue to be available to you during and after your program as well.
  • If you prefer hard-copy program materials, please print before the program and bring with you. There will be no hard-copy program materials provided on site, other than the agenda itself.
  • Full-text requirements books (with relevant Joint Commission standards for the program) will no longer be provided, either in hard copy or electronically. Please plan accordingly if you want to reference the standards during the program (for example, bring your own manual or plan to access E-dition).  
  • Come ready to learn, network with peers, and be prepared for 2017 compliance challenges.

Payments
Payments submitted by check take up to 14 days to process.  If you are registering for a program less than 14 days away, please pay with a credit card or your registration may not be received in time and your seat may not be reserved.

Substitutions, Transfers, and Cancellation Policy
Registration is nontransferable between JCR education programs due to variability in program sponsors. If you find that you cannot attend, you may send an alternate in your place.  Please send us the alternate’s full name, title, credentials, address, phone and e-mail address.  In the event of a cancellation, your registration fee, less a $100 processing fee, is refundable, if written notice of cancellation is faxed no later than 30 days prior to the program date.  All alternate or cancellation information should be emailed to rraudys@jcrinc.com. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after this date or for any no shows. JCR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.

Joint Commission Resources reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program due to an insufficient number of registrants or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program must be cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded in full to each registrant. You may verify current program status on our website or by calling JCR Customer Service at 877-223-6866.  Neither Joint Commission Resources nor The Joint Commission is responsible for a registrant's travel expenses in the event a program is cancelled. Participants should also not depend on registering on site, as some programs may be sold out; in these instances, neither Joint Commission Resources nor The Joint Commission is responsible for travel expenses.  Participants are encouraged to purchase refundable tickets in case a program is cancelled or rescheduled. Participants should also be aware that most airline tickets, including nonrefundable or discounted tickets, can be reissued within one year from the date the original ticket was issued.
