A Only paid subscribers have access to the archives. Occasionally, when Perspectives publishes a Special Issue on a topic of increased significance to all health care organizations, access to the online newsletter will be extended to all customers.
Q Can I purchase the electronic product by itself?
A Yes. An online-only subscription is now available.
Q How will I know when each issue of the online Perspectives is available?
A The online version of Perspectives becomes available on the Perspectives Web site the same day the print version is mailed—at about the beginning of the month of the issue date. (For example, an October issue is available in early October). Organizations that provide their e-mail address will receive an e-mail notification of the issue's availability as well as news blasts about important Joint Commission news before it appears in Perspectives. To provide your e-mail address for these notifications, go to the JCR Web site, click on "Sign up/Free Resources," and fill and submit the requested information.

Q Can I change who receives our organization’s complimentary subscription of The Joint Commission Perspectives?
A Because The Joint Commission Perspectives is the official news source of The Joint Commission, it is The Joint Commission policy that the complimentary subscription must go the organization’s administrator or CEO, and the medical staff director. This cannot be changed. To notify The Joint Commission of changes to your accredited organization's name, address, ownership, or officer's name, please fill out and submit an Organization Update Form located on the Joint Commission Web site at Organization Update Form (for all orgs except Laboratory) and Organization Update Form (for Laboratory only) and submit this to your account representative in Accreditation Operations. This information will then be updated for purposes of the complimentary subscription to The Joint Commission Perspectives.
