Mary Kay Bowie

Mary Kay Bowie is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in the health care field in roles such as executive hospital management, project management, and bedside nursing. Over the last four years, as a JCR Regional Client Manager, she has been assisted health care systems and their affiliate organizations with their journey to optimize health care quality and safety.

Previously, Ms. Bowie worked for The Joint Commission in the Division of Healthcare Quality Evaluation where she managed a broad range of performance measurement activities used in accreditation and certification programs, including the Top Performer on Key Quality Measures^® Core Measure Solution Exchange^® and the Pioneers in Quality^™ programs.

Ms. Bowie holds a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan, is a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ), and is a Certified Change Agent and a Green Belt through The Joint Commission’s Robust Process Improvement^® training program.
