Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP) program will be changing exam testing vendor in January 2020. We will keep you up to date as decisions are finalized. Our intent is to make this transition as smooth as possible for our current and future CJCP candidates.
What do you need to do?
Candidates scheduled to take their exams in 2019 should continue as planned. The transition to the new vendor will not affect your pending exam.
Candidates who have already completed the application process and are planning to take the exam in 2020, please do NOT register for the exam until the transition has been completed. We anticipate completing the transition to the new vendor by December 2019.
Candidates who have not yet applied, we ask that you wait until further notice to begin the application process with the new vendor.
We believe that this transition will provide a better exam experience and application process.
Ready to apply for CJCP?
The application process for CJCP is continuously open all year. While the testing months are only January, April, July and October, applications are always accepted. Our vendor, PSI, processes applications from potential candidates on behalf of JCR.
CJCP is currently only available to candidates working within the United States. The exam is based off of the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals (U.S. standards).

CJCP exams will be offered quarterly at a location convenient to you. Once your application is processed and deemed complete, you will be notified of further instructions to begin scheduling your exam time. Candidates have one year from the time of application to take the exam.
