CJCP Essentials Prep: September 12, 2019
Event Description

Attend the only CJCP® preparation course endorsed by The Joint Commission. You’ll learn tips to prepare for your CJCP exam from Joint Commission Resources (JCR) and Joint Commission expert faculty, including those involved with the development and evolution of the CJCP program. This event is only offered once in 2019 and seating is limited — be sure to register early.

This comprehensive program will provide you with an effective mix of CJCP study tools, strategies, and insights. You will learn about the latest revisions to Joint Commission standards, study techniques for successful completion of the exam, and a high level review of what you should be reviewing in preparation. Most importantly, you will learn directly from Joint Commission and JCR experts and will be able to ask them the most pressing questions you have. It is important to note that it is a strictly a review course taught at a higher level. Not all standards and elements of performance will be reviewed as we anticipate those studying for the CJCP exam are experienced accreditation and survey process professionals. Our goal is to better prepare the already seasoned professional. Past program participants have informed us that the sample CJCP test questions are the most beneficial tool as they have learned what the expectations are, can test their own knowledge, and identify areas where they need to focus on based on their results. This program will have many “sample” CJCP questions sprinkled throughout the day. In addition, participants will leave with additional questions and an answer key for independent study post event.

This program is ideal if you are preparing for CJCP certification and want authoritative, expert guidance, if you are considering the CJCP certification, have already applied, or represent an organization considering CJCP certification for your team. This live one-day event is the only education program offered in 2019 for candidates that wish to learn more and need help studying for the exam as well as tips for success. Even if you are already using the CJCP Exam Preparation Workbook, 4th Edition or reviewing the CJCP Modules to study, you will find this program an ideal complement to the preparatory work you’ve already started.
If you are already a CJCP, this program is a great way to review materials and earn CJCP credit hours towards recertification for maintenance of your credential. If you find that you will need to re-take the exam, what better way than to prepare for the second time by networking with your peers and getting your questions directly answered from expert CJCP staff.
The CJCP exam is available during four testing months of the year: January, April, July and October. We encourage you to consider taking the exam in October 2019. Many candidates find they are best prepared while the content is still fresh on their minds and the confidence they acquire after this education program has proven effective. In fact, in 2018, 100% of the participants that tested the day after the program (held in October 2018) passed the exam! In order to schedule the exam, you must have your application submitted and deemed complete and have a candidate ID number. Please call our vendor, PSI at 888-519-9901 to schedule a location for testing once you have completed these steps.
CJCP is currently only available to candidates working domestically within the United States. The exam is based off of the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals (domestic standards). CJCP may be expanded to professions working within other disciplines or internationally. Please continue to watch JCR’s website for the most current information.
