Dennis Hale, BBA, CHSP
Environment of Care
Dennis Hale has been involved in the health care industry as a Safety Officer for 23 years. As a JCR consultant, Mr. Hale provides health care expertise for organizations needing assistance with compliance with Joint Commission standards and federal regulations in the areas of Life Safety, Environment of Care and Emergency Management.
Mr. Hale is currently the Safety Officer and Emergency Management Coordinator for the Level One Trauma Center, University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Previously he worked for the Tenet Healthcare Organization as the Director of Safety at Providence Memorial Hospital, Sierra Medical Center and Rio Vista Rehabilitation Hospital also in El Paso, Texas.
Mr. Hale is actively involved in the Southwest Regional Emergency Preparedness Committee and has participated in the planning and execution of numerous region-wide emergency exercises. He also serves as chairman for the Medical Center’s Environment of Care and Emergency Management Committees.
Mr. Hale earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Eastern New Mexico University and has been a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP), Master Level, since January of 1994.
