Vice President, Operations and Sales
Jean Courtney has more than 25 years of health care financial and operational management experience and currently serves as Vice President, Operations and Sales, for Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International. In this role, Ms. Courtney is responsible for the establishment of strategic plans and day-to-day oversight and coordination of the following corporate functions: Marketing, Corporate Strategic Business Development, Operations, Quality Improvement, Product Fulfillment, Customer Support and Strategic Relationships. Ms. Courtney also oversees the sales and account management for Joint Commission Resources.
Ms. Courtney has previously served as Chief of Staff and Chief Financial Officer for Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International. In addition, she has worked as a Senior Manager in health care consulting for Ernst & Young in Chicago, Illinois, as a Finance Projects Manager and Senior Internal Auditor for Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan, and as a Staff Accountant for Parnell Kerr Foster, Certified Public Accountants in Detroit, Michigan.
Ms. Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She is a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association.
