Ms. Julia Prevatt joined Joint Commission Resources in 2012 with expertise in medical home development and management. Ms. Prevatt currently serves as a CSR and Domestic Consultant for the hospital, ambulatory, and nursing care center programs.
Ms. Prevatt specializes in survey readiness for over 35 organizations. Focusing on quality and safety, Ms. Prevatt has successfully implemented quality control measures resulting in improved patient care and satisfaction.
As a certified Yellow Belt through the Department of Defense, Ms. Prevatt has utilized Six Sigma and Lean practices on multiple projects such as patient wait times, stagnant versus dynamic practices, and the medical impact of Army Aviation. Ms. Prevatt previously worked in the ambulatory setting and is familiar with the medical home model since its conception. She implemented the model at her facility that combined primary care, adult medicine and aviation medicine, as well as helping with the design for the Military Health System. Ms. Prevatt has led several other initiatives for the Department of the Army.
