Kathleen F. DeMarcky, MPA, BSN, RN
Ms. Kathleen DeMarcky's career has encompassed various positions including Ocean County Health Department Home Health Care Coordination, New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Health Care Facility Evaluator, Complaint Investigator, Supervising Health Care Evaluator and Supervisor of Inspections. As Supervisor of Inspections, Ms. DeMarcky supervised and managed federal and state survey and complaint investigations in New Jersey licensed and federally certified acute care facilities. She directly managed and supervised the daily operations of the Acute Care Complaint Department and evaluated the performance of professional and secretarial staff. Ms. DeMarcky worked closely with CMS Region 2, conducting federal EMTALA and complaint allegation surveys.
As a CMS Consultant, Ms. DeMarcky consults on the regulatory requirements regarding Medicare Conditions of Participation. Ms. DeMarcky has been an invited guest speaker at hospitals, hospital association staff, and maternal and child health consortium, regarding EMTALA survey and compliance.
