Sukhjit Tom Singh, MPH, MHA, CHSP
Mr. Sukhjit Tom Singh is an Environment of Care Consultant with Joint commission Resources. Mr. Singh provides health care safety expertise for organizations needing assistance with compliance with Joint Commission standards and federal regulations.
In 2011, Mr. Singh presented at the 2nd Annual Hospital Fire Safety Conference, a strategic partnership with the Fire Department of New York and NYC hospitals in managing fire safety risks at a major academic medical center. In 2005, Mr. Singh was selected as the recipient for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Excellence in Student Leadership Award for both District 1 and the New York-Long Island Region.
Mr. Singh currently serves as a Field Director for Environment of Care Compliance at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, overseeing several program elements related to the physical environment. During his tenure, Mr. Singh has been responsible for implementing a number of best practice programs incorporating IT tools to manage safety and compliance across the Organization.
