Event Description

This program gives healthcare professionals a framework for an integrated, comprehensive, and systematic approach to the analysis of patient safety events and their associated improvement actions. In addition, the program describes how organizations can work to prevent or respond to patient safety events. Through interactive dialogue and case studies, you will gain insight on analyzing patient safety events and reducing the risk of harm to future patients. Program topics cover the common “how to’s” of proactively analyzing the design or redesign of patient–centered system(s) in your organization. Also, applying an understanding of human factors is included. Please join us for this  event, as expert faculty help you review and apply patient safety science steps, to work for your patients’ benefit. It is offered only once this year, so you do not want to miss how to put it all together!
