Cost containment and reduction along with efficiency and waste reduction are challenges that confront hospital leaders.  Key safety and quality issues are entwined in the challenges that confront hospital and system leaders in 2018 and beyond.  This year’s Hospital Executive Briefings will use aggregate survey data to share actual observations seen in high risk areas across hospital settings Sterile medication compounding, suicide prevention and ligature risk, high level disinfection, and high-risk physical environment findings are just a few of the topics that will be addressed.

Overview:

This one day educational program is constructed to provide health care professionals with key information necessary to navigate the challenging aspects of Medicare’s Conditions of Participation for hospitals! It may seem daunting at times when dealing with CMS’s expectations. However, this program brings tips and compliance strategies for you to increase your efforts in fulfilling CMS requirements. As a result, it is a topic packed event for advanced beginners and proficient individuals in hospital CMS compliance, which is taught by JCR experts (all of whom are former CMS surveyors). Also, you have an opportunity to network at the program’s wine and cheese reception. Please join us and attend the program!

Who Should Attend:

Any healthcare related professional interested in Medicare’s Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for hospitals! Program is designed for the advanced beginner to an expert who works on the Center’s for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) processes and findings. Your role title or job responsibilities may be connected, but not limited to administrators, clinical leadership, managers, physicians, etc.

Payments
Payments submitted by check take up to 14 days to process.  If you are registering for a program less than 14 days away, please pay with a credit card or your registration may not be received in time and your seat may not be reserved.

Substitutions, Transfers, and Cancellation Policy
Registration is nontransferable between JCR education programs due to variability in program sponsors. If you find that you cannot attend, you may send an alternate in your place.  Please send us the alternate’s full name, title, credentials, address, phone and e-mail address.  In the event of a cancellation, your registration fee, less a $100 processing fee, is refundable, if written notice of cancellation is faxed no later than 30 days prior to the program date.  All alternate or cancellation information should be emailed to rraudys@jcrinc.com. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after this date or for any no shows. JCR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.

Joint Commission Resources reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program due to an insufficient number of registrants or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program must be cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded in full to each registrant. You may verify current program status on our website or by calling JCR Customer Service at 877-223-6866.  Neither Joint Commission Resources nor The Joint Commission is responsible for a registrant's travel expenses in the event a program is cancelled. Participants should also not depend on registering on site, as some programs may be sold out; in these instances, neither Joint Commission Resources nor The Joint Commission is responsible for travel expenses.  Participants are encouraged to purchase refundable tickets in case a program is cancelled or rescheduled. Participants should also be aware that most airline tickets, including nonrefundable or discounted tickets, can be reissued within one year from the date the original ticket was issued.
