JCR Consultant Michael Kuechenmeister Awarded ASHE’s Highest Honor

Joint Commission Resources (JCR) is proud to share that at the 52 Annual American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition, Joint Commission Resources (JCR) Environment of Care® Consultant Michael Kuechenmeister, FASHE, CHFM, CHC, CPE, was awarded the association’s highest honor, the Crystal Eagle Leadership Award. This prestigious award recognizes leadership, service, and efforts to advance the field of health care engineering. Award recipients are chosen by a select committee made up of ASHE volunteer leadership and approved by ASHE’s Executive Committee and its Board of Directors. 

In addition to his service as a JCR Consultant, Kuechenmeister has been an active member of ASHE since 1989, and has served as a consultant with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He has over 35 years of health care engineering experience and is currently the Director of Plant Operations and Construction for Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati's new West Chester Medical Center.
