Joint Commission Resources Announces Remaining 2015 Conferences and Seminars

Learning Events Focus on Improving Patient Safety and Quality of Care

(Oak Brook, Ill., July 30, 2015) Joint Commission Resources, Inc. (JCR), a not-for-profit affiliate of The Joint Commission, today announced its remaining 2015 health care conferences and seminars. The learning events help health care professionals focus on improving patient safety and quality of care, while also providing them with opportunities to learn about The Joint Commission’s accreditation and certification process.

Events for several Joint Commission accreditation programs remain, including for the hospital, ambulatory health care, behavioral health care and home care accreditation programs. All of the conferences and seminars help attendees prepare their health care organization to comply with accreditation and certification requirements, as well as to discover the importance of high reliability and safety culture concepts being integrated into health care.

  • Joint Commission engineers and surveyors will review case studies and updates to EC standards. Proven methods, frameworks and solutions to address EC issues also will be covered.


Exploring the Life Safety Chapter

November 12-13, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

  • Joint Commission leaders with experience in Life Safety Code® content application and inspection will share the latest findings and information on the Life Safety Chapter and Life Safety Code topics.
