How do I log in and start using E-dition?

  • If you were provided with a special URL link, click on the link and you will be automatically logged into E-dition as “Guest” user

OR

  • If you received a self registration code or an individual logon id. Click https://e-dition.jcrinc.com and you can Self Register or log in using the id and password provided
  • If you are not in the Service Profile screen, (Guest users will have to) click the Service Profile link located at top right corner of the screen
  • Select the underlined program (Ambulatory, Behavioral Health or Home Care, …. ) you want to activate
  • Click and select on the Program or any of its Service Group to activate them
    Click Save As My Profile button to set it as your default profile (Note: Guest users can only apply selections for the visit and the programs need to be re-selected each time you visit E-dition)
  • You are now ready to browse the selected Programs using the left navigation bar

How do I reset a password (as a Program Administrator)?

Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Update User and Access Information, click on the user ID for the person that requires the password reset. Click on Reset User Password. Enter the new password in both fields and check the box to force password reset on first login. Click on reset password button.

How do I access the Proxy Link for my E-dition?

Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Manage Guest (Proxy) Link. Copy and paste the Proxy URL to an email. Send to your IT or IS contact to have it added to your organizations intranet.

How do I add a new user?

Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Update User and Access Information, click on Create New User. Fill in the required fields and chooses the proper “type” or role for the user. Click on create and send the user an email with their login credentials.

How do I remove a user from my organization?

To make a user inactive:
Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Update User and Access Information, click on the user ID for the person that needs to be removed, click on Update User Profile. Click on the drop down menu for Status and choose Inactive, then save. This will make a user inactive so that they can’t login to the JCR portal.

To remove a user from your site and they are associated to other sites:
Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Update User and Access Information, click on the user ID for the person that needs to be removed, click on User site Affiliation, click on Remove next to the site that you want to remove their access and click on Remove in the next warning window that pops up.

How do I access the self-registration tool for my staff to register themselves?

Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Update User and Access Information, click on Create Self-Registration Code. Determine what role/s you would like to provide your staff; Program Administrator or Staff Member. Put the number “1” in the area next to the role you require and click on generate. Copy the 32 character registration code that was populated in the “item” field WITHOUT the quotes. You will need to send your staff the registration code along with the link to the JCR Portal and instruct the user to use the Self-Registration option below the login area. It will prompt the user to enter the code and follow the steps it requires for them to register themselves.

How can I see the inactive users for my organization?

Go to the Admin tab, click on Site and User Maintenance, click on the site ID#, click on Update User and Access Information, check the box next to Include Inactive users under the User Search Options and click on Search. To remove them uncheck the box and click on Search once again.
