Statement from Joint Commission Resources Regarding the May 20, 2013 Tornado in Oklahoma

Added on June 21, 2013 in General News

In a time of such tragedy, the people of Moore, Oklahoma and the surrounding areas are in our thoughts as they begin their process of recovery from the May 20 tornado.

We also salute the courageous health care workers, first responders and volunteers and their tireless efforts during this time of public emergency, and especially at Moore Medical Center, a campus of one of The Joint Commission’s accredited organizations.
We stand ready to assist them toward achieving safe patient care as they face new demands following the tornado, and their efforts to recover from the devastation.
