Ms. Beth Skarbinski has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership roles, specializing in the areas of quality, risk, claims, patient safety, regulatory compliance, education, peer review and nursing administration.

Ms. Skarbinski is a Continuous Service Readiness Consultant with Joint Commission Resources. Prior to joining Joint Commission Resources, she served as the Chief Nursing Officer and Patient Safety Officer for an acute care community hospital where she was involved in accreditation, disease specific certifications, sentinel event management, medical staff, peer review and infection prevention.

She has spent most of her healthcare career in leadership roles and brings expertise in quality improvement and risk management where she has led sustainable improvement initiatives. She has implemented processes to reduce overall patient harm while reducing medical malpractice claims within a hospital system.

Ms. Skarbinski has led numerous successful surveys during her career as well as proven regulatory compliance during CMS validation surveys. Additionally, she is an Undergraduate Adjunct Faculty member teaching Healthcare Risk and Ethics, Healthcare Quality Management and Healthcare Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation.
